The Inn & More
From Yesterday To TodayAbout The Inn
In 1945, Mr. & Mrs. John Schoenherr opened the doors of the Meadowbrook Inn on the site of what is now The Inn & More. Meadowbrook provided three acres of exclusive use along the Saco River for its guests, and served as the perfect basecamp to explore the surrounding mountains, rivers, forests and streams of Mt. Washington.
You'll still find the same great access to the best outdoor recreation in the Northeast, and the region has evolved to offer so much more today than it did in the early years. There's something for everyone, all year round.
In 2022, Kevin and Leigha Cleary purchased The Inn and began significant renovations. All of the guest units and areas were completely refreshed and upgraded — not only to preserve history, but so that The Inn may continue to host guests from around the world for many years to come!
Meet The Owners
The Clearys
Our love story started in the Mt. Washington Valley. Kevin first learned to ski here on trips with Leigha, and we first met the wonderful couple who previously owned the property — then called Will's Inn — when they took pity on us and helped us drag our kayaks up from the river out back.
Learn moreNot long after, we were married right around the corner in Bartlett where Leigha’s parents now live. Our two small children have been on skis since turning one, and we’re raising them to love these great outdoors.
We thank God for this opportunity to provide a comfortable place for travelers to come and explore everything that the Valley has to offer.
An All-Season Destination
There's Always More
Multiple ski resorts and amusement parks can be found within an hour of the property, while restaurants and breweries are just minutes away. Downtown North Conway is big on local charm and independent boutiques, and Settlers Green Outlet Village is home to high-end retailers. Mt. Washington is a true four-season destination, and The Inn & More is the perfect place to experience it all.
